No! Halo 3 sucked and was the scourge of the series. Halo 1, 2, or Reach. Or Buy them all, start with Reach, then immediately go to Halo:CE, Halo 2, then Halo 3. Thats the correct way to follow the series.

Halo 2, Reach is TERRIBLE because of all the glitches and easy level ups with the commendations and campaign wasn't great either

None is better than the others. There are just aspects about each game. Like Halo 3 has good multiplayer, but the campaign was a letdown.
