Tends to be played at least once at every college or frat party at temple. Granted all the good parties are dance ones. So it is something worthwhile to grind too.
I heard the song for the first time at homecoming back in October, and I think that the beat of the song is really good. However, my 6-year-old sister could sing it and no one could tell the difference if she used all of the computers and editing software this group uses It's ridiculous. Any other hip-hop group could have taken that beat and written a legend with it. I think it would have worked really well with The Dream (the beat, NOT the lyrics)
PSHHHHH. SCUSE ME?! I love music. All types. And I like to party too. Don't be so stereotypical Ernie.
Hold your footing Ernie, I'm behind your back. Saying you love ''music'' while admitting you like this song does sound like one hell of a paradox to me. Such sounds being called ''music'' is aberent in my opinion. Chopin, Haendel and Mozart would be proud that's for sure...
Oh well, I guess it is nice noise to be dancing, after all I do kick it up on the dancefloor when such crap is coming from the speakers (Yes, unlike what you would think of me, I am a terrific dancer). Then again, I'd much rather dance on Jay Kay's music (Jamiroquai); funk is the ideal beat to heat up the dancefloor.
Are you joking? Techno, house, hardstyle......You heard anything from any of these genres? Theres like 20 different genres better then funk for a dancefloor
overplayed. it was good at first... but now its just ridiculous I agree every single music station plays it way too often, it was still a good song though.

Do you know Jay Kay? Have you ever seen Jay Kay dance?...I'm sticking to my opinion, without the slightest doubt. Funk is the best groove; thus the best dance music. Youth these days, I tell you...
Isn't the whole song: Like a G6 I'm fly like a G6?
I don't know about you guys, but this song is terrible. Actually most music these days is pretty terrible. The whole idea these days seems to be:
1. Find a techno beat 2. Talk about being rich or something abnormal 3. Repeat same lyrics 4. You have a song
This whole techno genre really rubs me the wrong way. It's trash, it takes no skill to talk to a beat, anyone of the street can talk to a beat, and that is what they classify as "music" Really? This is your idea of music? Whatever happened to actual bands instead of these one hit wonders I see a lot of today? I mean stuff like Nirvana, or Greenday from the 80's and 90's? Stuff like that, where the song had singing, where it took TALENT to make music. Not like today, nope, just insert machine to make strange beats and ignore all talent of "singer".
