Well, climate changes on Earth aren't that small, what you call "small climate change" is what can lead to a new ice age.
Evidence of this has already hit the Earth, here in Europe we get more colder and colder winters for every year.
Yeah, I heard about the gulf stream slowing down... It would cause very cold winters in Russia and parts of Europe... I hope willnt be too cold, I dont wanna have really really cold winters there... But Russia will be mostly affected zone by that.
The Earth goes through warm and cold fronts, few hundred years ago there was a mini iceage it was about the time Napealon invaded Russia for the first time that was the cold front, now we are moving into the warm front.
hmmm shouldn't this be in World Events, Politics, Religion, Etc.? i'm almost sure i have seen this same topic several times.
Anyways...Global Warming/Cooling is obviously real, how do you think the last ice age ended? by the earth naturally getting warmer thus melting the ice. Now the debate at hand is more or less whether or not our actions on this planet truly ARE speeding up the process of natural global warming. Which in my opinion is a stupid question to ask, because the answer is YES! If you look at the statistics ever since the industrial revolution the world has been getting warmer and warmer due to the megatons harmful gases now being released that wasn't in the past released.
The evidence for global warming is the coral as well...take for example the great coral reef in Australia, as the water gets warmer the coral dies and turns white (Coral Bleaching)...the warmer waters as well melts the frozen glaciers, increasing the sea level.
Another good example of global warming is, oh i can't remember the name, but the camp at which the first man to explore Antarctica was virtually frozen, keeping meats and other things preserved in time, but now the ice is melting and fungus and grasses and decaying bacteria can now live in the area, thus decaying a piece of history.
