I'm gonna roll a Worgen Hunter and a Goblin Rogue myself. I'm sort of an "altoholic" (yeah, that's real WoW-slang, I didn't make it up) so I'm mostly excited about the new races and the remade lowbie zones.

The same could be said of CoD as well. It's a video game forum and everyone is entitled to discuss their opinions of video games. It shouldn't be allowed to turn into a flame war if properly moderated either. But either way, WoW went to crap after BC, took 2 toons through IC hard and sold my account due to the ease of everything. Everything including: Raids, gear availability, and welfare epics. It lost it's touch and is just catering to the vast majority of casual gamers to make tons more money, which I can't blame. But it totally made the game suck bad.
In a way yes. However consider the immaturity made by CoD players and how much they would enforce flame wars if one were to arise? Also, there are plenty of them who go on this forum, WoW? Not so much. There are a decent amount, but you are bound to get plentiful of people who will gladly rip on us no-lifing overweight waste-of-space in our mothers basement, for playing it. Even though that is a terribly made stereotypical WoW player whom the main population is not composed of.

Which I must say Armor Games does this quite well, actually.

True, the easyness of it allowed all the immature players to come in and make the whole thing bad for everyone. BUT. Back in Cataclysm they really do seem to be stepping up the difficulty and thus I think you should come back as the unpatient people (usually the immature ones) will not bother wasting their time for it. Some will, most won't.
Except I would have to start over, and thus doing so, lose all of my titles/achievements/gear etc. Not worth it imo lol
Why not? The Old World is changing entirely, you might as well get a different Class. There's also new Glyph Systems. New Guild Systems. New Talent Tree Systems. Class revamps: Hunter - Gets Focus instead of Mana. Warlock - Soul Shard mechanic redone. Paladin - Holy Power mechanic - much like Combo Points Rogue - Will be allowed to use other weapons that aren't daggers, and won't rely on stunlocking. And even more! >

I love to start over. I make new characters all the time. I'm really looking forward to Cataclysm because I've sort of done all the early quests tons of times. The only thing I don't like about it is how Garrosh will become the warchief...

I know that but not properly. A lot of their abilities requires Daggers and thus only Daggers would be used. However in Cataclysm they are removing most, if not all of them so it allows much large variety.
The only thing I don't like about it is how Garrosh will become the warchief...

I heard he'd ban all non-orcs from the center of Orgrimmar. As a troll/tauren fan, I don't appreciate that.

Due to political fractures between the Orcs and Trolls, as well as some tension building up between Orcs and Forsaken, that makes up for why. Meanwhile Goblins get the Goblin Slums in Orgrimmar. And Tauren take over Thralls old building and rebuild a Tauren Architecture... 'mini-village' instead. As for Blood Elves, they don't do much in Cataclysm. lol! :P
