Think it through well before making a clan, and then advertise it in your about, possibly with a custom chat or free forum for your members to reside. We are not very keen on having clans here in the forums as it is now, but if you wait till AG3, there will be groups implemented as far as I know, and you could make it then.
But for now, no clans on the forums, and this also do lack a purpose (as judged from the opening post).
