You know what I find pretty weird? The fact that how vast the internet is, and how many people there are in the world - I can still manage to run into folks I know only on the internet.
By "running into someone I know," I mean on another website or forum.
Iv never really paid much attention, i dont go around asking if the person is the same, if i run into someone i know, its because we have the same interests
You aren't alone Asherlee. I guess since I've mostly restricted myself to AG, my circle of internet contacts isn't very large. I've also registered for sites that people here are likely to register for (Kongregate).
I've run into quite a few old myninjakiwi people here. Other than that, most people I see on the internet stay loyal to one site (unless I invite them to a different one).
^ The people I know on the internet have the same interests as me so I do usually see them on other sites. But they've become a bit inactive since of school. It's kind of weird.
1. Psychoace, who I met on SmashWorldForums and came to AG. 2. And a friend named Silver who I first met on Graal (<3<3<3<3<3asherlee for showing me graal<3) and ran into on Kong. I payed her out for being on Kong of course.
I can actually say that I have never ran into someone In my life through the internet, except this one time on World of Warcraft... anyways I actually run into people alot more in real life.

Am I alone in this?
I actually don't run into people I know on the internet. My luck, as it seems, is limited to real life interactions. The weirdest one was that I met a guy I went to high school with a while back. We both grew up in the same small town, about 400 people. About 9 years after I left that town I ended up here in Phoenix, 4 states away. I go into this restaurant, get hired on as staff, and my first night my trainer is a kid I went to school with and hadn't seen in nearly 12 years. Talk about a small world. And this is only one of several instances of meeting someone somewhere and then meeting them all over again years later in a far away place from our first introduction.
