I don't mean no slow-tempo menacing songs in some minor key, I mean stuff that is scary-as-shit. Like, music that would give you nightmares and materialize into an evil person and rape/murder you in your dream instead of just scaring you.
I nominate the entire album The Drift by Scott Walker. It should be easy to find and buy/download. It is SO SCARY I MEAN I CAN'T MAKE IT THROUGH ALL THE WAY BY MYSELF IF I DON'T HAVE SOMEONE IN MY PRESENCE NEARBY BECAUSE THAT SHIT GETS IN YOUR HEAD AND SCARES YOU AND SNF HJKDSHF SE FSH SDF NBDJVF JDNF HSNDFWFRKESR KVA
Lol, Rob Zombie and Disturbed don't hold a candle to Scott. He actually adjusts the tones and volumes of the music to induce psychological discomfort in the listener, and he writes really creepy lyrics about stuff like being jesus and being nailed to the cross and stuff like that ._.
Lol, you need to listen to the whole thing. It is really freaky, but I admit I was exaggerating in the OP. Mostly, it's just really weird and dark and scary. I'd recommend you listen through the whole album . . . it's really freaky, but it's an awesome album.
Here's the first song on The Drift . . . . ..

He pulls a lot of the lyrics from pretentious book reviews because he's really effing weird.
This is the freakiest song on the album. The lyrics are about 9/11, and then they switch to Elvis trying to tsalk to his stillborn twin brother in the womb DX
Yeah, the album is really creepy as a whole. That's what I mean. There're a few genuinely scary moments on the album, but it's a lot more apparent if you listen to the whole album all the way through.
