black ops is definatly better in my opinyun, i like all the customisation and its guns arent over powered like in MW2 and i think its a RELLY fun game-killbynight(lol i dont know y i sine off like that)

Infinity Ward was and is far beyond anything treyarch can ever hope to accomplish.
My experience with the story line is limited, but i'm sure I could write an analysis if you would like one as to why it is inferior to anything Infinity Ward has done. I realize that it is a sequel to WaW and it takes place during the cold war. The single-player campaign revolves around an experimental Soviet chemical weapon codenamed "Nova-6".
Black ops runs on the same engine world at war ran on which ran on the CoD 4 engine, the only difference is that black ops uses a streaming texture tech and improved lighting effects. It still looks like 10 year old version of counter strike. Now before you get your panties in a bunch about how "graphics don't matter huurrr" let me lay some other information on you about it. For the pc version it was found that the lag in multiplayer made the game virtually unplayable, this is known as a critical bug, sure they can send out a patch and fix it but this is something that should have been taken care of before the release and is just ****ing lazy on treyarch's part. For the ps3 we find that it has compatibility issues with the 3d t.v.s I experienced this first hand at MLG Dallas November 5-7th.

I play it on PC, it's not the best, and it does have spikes. For the most part, it's okay.

Most 1's on many games are due to packaging issues, or Amazon being faulty somehow. Not based off gameplay, immersion or graphics.

And? The visuals shouldn't bother you that much, especially considering Black Ops' really are not that bad.

If the graphics are bad then the framerate should not be affected. If it's the same engines, the side-effects of using it should be apparent in every other Call of Duty that used it.
The issue is not there. So really, the graphics engine shouldn't be the issue here and therefore, yes, the graphics are utterly irrelevant.
Matchmaking is a complete hash, lag spikes are going to occur when you've got such an awful system for your multiplayer. Either it's Treyarch's fault, but you're wrong, or it's server administrators'/hosts' problems that Treyarch can do nothing about.

Im a game tester for treyarch and ive played both they both to me look like cheap copies of battlefeild: Bad Company 2. But I would have to go with Black Ops because they step up there game from Mw2. Medal Of Honor should just stick to World War 2 games...
ya but dude saying treyarch has no idea what there doing is kinda pushing. lol cause black ops campaign is amazing. while the multiplayer lacks, its not always about that.
game devolpers work hard to make these games and id honestly like to see you try and make somthing better. cause trayarch has a fairly good resume right now

I see no one else decided to point out why this is wrong so I'll take it upon myself. Have you ever played through the story in MW2? The entire story revolves around something that makes no sense, the entire "No Russian" mission is riddled with ridiculous story flaws. First off does future Russia not have facial recognition software even through modern Russian does? Second, a single rouge American man isn't near enough of a reason for the international community to not have a problem when Russia invades the US. Third while Russia doesn't have facial recognition technology the US can take blurry video footage of a video and tell where a bullet came from? Don't tell me I'm over thinking this, if it didn't really matter to the story I wouldn't care but it makes the rest of the story. Another major problem is how did Price shoot off the nuke, was there a giant red button that said "On noz don't shot off teh nuke plz*?
