These are just a few hints I made up that I found made the game much easier

Please remember though, that the save system on the game doesn't work, and although it says your game successfully saves, it only saves in your home area, and all other areas you own become empty. You can get round this by just stockpiling as much of everything as you can, because your resources will still save for each place

When you are starting your game select your empire, personally I prefer the Zargas, but both empires are equally good.

When you are customizing your goods, change money to 15, and the rest to 25. This is because money is never hard to come by. You just get so much food that you sell it and get your money.

As soon as you start build a House, and then upgrade it - don't get a 2nd one. You want to get as much free spaces as possible.

In your first territory you need to get a good spread of everything. If you are being the Zargas you get 'Fish Ponds' and if you are being the Artavera then you will get 'Farms'. You should get a total of about 7 Fish Ponds/Farms. Everytime you feel you have enough food, sell 50% of it. Your money will soon begin to stockpile, which allows you to buy whatever you need. Upgrade all the farms as soon as possible.
You may need to build more Houses (and upgrade them) to get all 7 farms/fish ponds. You also may need to sell some of your food.

Your food will now begin to stockpile. Now to get wood and iron. You need about 4 iron mines and 4 carpenter houses. Once you have them all upgrade them, and as usual keep selling your food as you need more money and get more Houses.
There we are, I am now on day 7 and I have my economy set up. Now to get my army.

You will probably have about 10-12 building areas left now. On them, build 3 barracks, 2 arrow blacksmiths and 2 spear/sword blacksmiths. Upgrade them all. Fill the rest of your building areas with houses. Have everything fully upgraded.

Your first territory is now set up and you are ready to go and kill some people However, you may want to wait until you have max soldiers and either spears or arrows to give to them.
If you are planning on waiting, then you can press options and speed the game up until you are ready.

I won't go any further with how to build, because it would get very boring to read, but I will give a list of what each territory is capable of, with regards to units and weapons etc.

Territory List:
Arigal- This is the starting Zargas territory. You are able to train standard soldiers here, and build spears and arrows. You can gather food, wood, money and iron here.
Istinada- This is the starting Artavera territory. It has the same capabilities as Arigal except instead of getting spears you get swords.
Bibaluz- This territory allows you to train horses and elephants, and build arrows. You can gather food, money, wood and iron here.
Carex- This territory allows you to train super soldiers, and gather food, wood, pearls, iron, steel and money.
Fargaz- This territory allows you to train soldiers and build fire arrows. You can gather food, wood, iron, money and oil.
Gigelium- This territory allows you to train soldiers and witches and build fire arrows. You can gather food, pearls, oil and money.
Deresium- This territory allows you to train witches, horses and elephants and build swords. You can gather food and money.
Haze- This territory allows you to train catapults, and build spears. You can gather food, money, wood, iron and coal.
Eradite- This territory allows you to train super soldiers and horses. You can gather food, wood, iron, steel and money.
Liures- This territory allows you to train soldiers and make arrows. You can gather food, wood, pearls, iron and money.
Konselium- This territory allows you to train horses and make fire arrows. You can gather food, wood, iron, money and oil.
Jerax- This territory allows you to train elephants and build arrows and swords. You can gather food, wood, iron and money.

Luckily for you (if you actaully read it all) I am finished. These hints will probably be useless and not help anyone, but I was bored and wanted something to do Hopefully someone will read this all :P

Thx
