I'm pretty sure there has been numerous posts already about the game, but none that I can easily find.
So, I ask of you hardcore gamers, I am considering buying it, as have seen the new 'Undead Nightmare' expansion pack that requires the original game and an additional shaving of Microsoft Points, and it looked good. I wanted to know how everyone likes the game whether its a good buy and why?
Also do you have any information past the advert on the new expansion pack 'Undead Nightmare'? Like is it an wave defense type, or a new campaign, etc.? And also could somebody be more specific about what is good about it.
Yeh DLC isn't out yet, is it (sorry, may be wrong). But oh right, sort of like Fallout or Oblivion (I play those types of games as well). Is it open world (like FO3 and Oblivion)?
Undead Nightmare is worth the 800 points, yes. If you don't already have the game, it is also worth whatever you pay for it.
The game itself is commonly referred to as "Grand Theft Horse", and that's a fair comparison. The mission structure, world design and optional sidequests all draw from GTA. There is less character development than a Bethesda game.
If you're looking for something to soak up about 25-30 hours and come out of feeling like you got your money's worth there are far worse choices.
Undead Nightmare is a new story set in an "alternate" world filled with zombies. So, new story, new sidequests, 2 new guns, 4 new horses, mythical creatures to hunt (!!!), and somethings have changed. The honor meter is gone, because bullets are now currency, meaning you can kill people for bullets without the guilt (unless you do that already..). The bounty missions are now rescue missions, where you have to rescue people who have gone missing.
I might get it. Not a huge fan of zombies, but seeing how it's essentially a new RDR game I might be swayed.
The story and game play is fantastic, but the online fails big time hopefully they add more to it. It could be great but if your just looking for a good single player game I would have to say must buy.
If you are done with the story your done but it has a great story + multiplayer is frikkin hilarious i give in a 7/10 because it get boring fast i would buy it
