So,what's your opinion about Linkin Park's new album?I think that the previous were much more better.However, i like that they write meaningful songs.Excuse me if a similar thread already exists.
This album is absolutely pathetic. They went from having a unique rap-rock sound, to a generic rock sound in "Hands Held High", to a stupid pop sound in the latest. I'm sick of all the idiots who say "shut up haters, they're always awesome you're not a real fan, etc...", because the fact is, LP's sound has degenerated into a slop lacking any originality. And about the aforementioned "meaningful songs", those are not hard to make, only hard to incorporate into a good song. Any half-wit can pull "meaningful" poetry out of their bunghole.
Really? I really wanted to hear the album, but now the more I hear from people I know and from you I really am not having high hopes for this ablum. But looking at it almost every band/artist has atleast one bad album and usually after that one ablum they come out with a great one and learn from there mistakes. Hopefully they will if what everyone says is true.
I used to like these guys. Meteora was good, and so was Hybrid Theory. However, in minutes to midnight they only have a few good songs and it's repetitive as hell so I didn't enjoy it.
This, however, is complete trash. Really, what have they done? =_= They used to be pretty good Rap-Rock Nu Metal, but now have turned into pathetic Pop Rock.
