The more people have used txt messageing and the internet chat the more we have abbreviated words to make them easyier to say. KKK is never said as it stands for the Ku Klux Klan a group of people who dislike everything that is not white, people use K and KK mainly for the reason that it is easyier to press the K bar once or twice rather then saying OK.
Considering the "o" key is right above the "k" key, I don't understand how it is much easier to say "ok" over "kk" or "k". It takes at most an extra fourth of a second to add the extra "o" in, and then you don't sound like an idiot by saying "k" or "kk"

shouldn't judge people by the way they type
it's easier just cause it's faster people apparently wanna type fast so they use shortcuts
Where did you get the idea of KKK? Didn't you know about the racist Ku Klux Klan? Oh, I also never use textspeak or whatever. My phone's predictive text dictionary helps.
I just really love that they have a Spongebob patch on their outfits, and the small text at the bottom of the sign, "Spongebob Squarepants fan club meetings in Tyron's mom's basement every Wednesday at 7:30pm" That pic makes me laugh soooo hard.
If we are to presume that a single K means OK then two Ks would imply two OKs. As you know, "OK" and "OK, OK" are used differently. Someone probably used KK appropriately and it caught on from there.
KKK wouldn't work because it's the acronym for Ku Klux Klan, an extreme racist group. Even if Walker is correct, they've left an infamous mark in history, it wouldn't go down anywhere or with anyone.
Eh, what I posted was an image of people making fun of the Klan, not the real Klan. Unfortunately they are still alive and well in America and still bigoted ********.
As for the real origins of "KK", I've always heard that it was an abbreviation for "ok cool", however instead of "OC" it went from "K" for "OK" to "KK" for "k kool". I'm sure it also stems from the ease of hitting one key twice as opposed to different keys, especially on a numeric pad entry like a cell phone.
