Is there a new virus today? I just had 2 BSODs, and I got it after my brother visited some sites. He deleted the history, so I had to visit REAL DOS to fetch it from Windows' directory. I think he visited some well, 'sites' and a naruto watching site. Any lead what this virus is? I am aware that it might just be an error with the PC, but I am not taking any chances.
I can't being to speculate as to what sort of virus would have caused that but I think you better run a system check just to ensure all device drivers are functioning.
I don't know if a virus can give you BSOD
It's quite rare unless the virus can over-ride device driver commands.
I was just seeing if somebody would be saying: There is a new virus today that gives you BSODs and you can get it at site x! Because normally if new viruses come out that happens.
