hmmm.... i assume it is tropical ( the norm for most things like this), so i start gathering vines, fallen branches+ leaves to make a hut. i make the hut by using medium-sized rocks to hold the branches in place, tie the vertical branches ( the walls) to the lateral branhces( ceiling) using the vines, then use smaller branches/large twigs to form a grid over the roof. on this grid i place the leaves in alternating patterns so they overlap each other ( 1 in between the small gap between 2 leaves), so that they provide adequate shade+keep out rain.
If this is tropical, and we are working together...then
I grab a whole bunch of rocks and a make a circle with them right outside the hut. I then grab a whole bunch of twigs and bark from trees and put them inside the circle. After that, i grab a small log and a stick and use the fire-plow technique to make a small ember. I tip the ember into the twigs and a small fire starts. I carefully blow on the flame before it becoms a fire. I load some branches on top and guess what, we have FIRE!
hmmmmmmmm im hungery ithink i spotted some wild boar in the woods ill craft a spear and hunt with 3 of the passenger after 3 hrs of hunting i get 1 adult male and 1 baby and cook it over our roaring fire
hmmmmmm i want clean water i make a perifacation system out of cinders dirt and scraps of metal all of the bad stuff stays behind and pur water drips into the cantainer
