In learn to fly you can glide using lift induced thrust to glide at constant speed. Drag does not increase significantly if you don't exceed the limit of the glider.

Keep your speed between 190~199 for as long as possible you should be able to reach at least 8000 if you had full upgrades.

Just upgrade the plane and then upgrade the fuel and stuff. That's why I do for everything flying game, and it works.

never finished the game but got every upgrade, 6000ft is just too hard =/

No, no, no! You need to upgrade everything and then when you go off the cliff you go straight up for about 40% of your fuel and then level out with little drag. Every once in a while you use fuel to keep at a constant speed. That should get you to 4500 ft with 40% of your fuel. Fromthere you go straight and finish. I have done it twice. (The third time I got 5998 ft!) : (

you should be able to reach at least 8000 if you had full upgrades.

You can continue playing after you completed all achievements.

Oops I forgot, I never reached 8000.I had a thread about it.

never beaten ive gotten every upgrade but i just cant get 6000 feet.

You have to boost your speed up to 200mph once you get down to 175mph, and keep doing that until you run out of fuel.

all you have to do is save up money by getting achievmentsthen slowly buy the upgrades one by one

i've gotten 6000 twice.

fire w/ rockets to as high as their fuel takes you than slowly go and descend to the water
