The AK-47 is much better in many video games, but in the real a m16 will be much better.

I prefer m16 because I think it is more... polyvalent.
With 3 round burst, you add precision to it.

M16's have a more militaristic feel to them, so they get my vote anyway.
AK47's imply a more improvised weaponry.

I would have to go with the M16. In basically every FPS game I've chosen it and have had no problems winning with it.

With the AK-47 though. I picked it a couple times just to see what some people were talking about and I just can't use it. Every time I do I end up dying quicker. When I try to aim and shoot it's always off target and too hard to control.

I don't know about M16, but AKs can be underwater.

yes yes the military channel voted the ak-47 number 1, but Endscape will stick to M series and choose the M16.
p.s. an m16 can work under water or rather after being exposed to water.

So, they're really similar,but is just what GhostOfMatrix said: firing at the same time that you aim with the AK, is more difficult than with the M16

AK47 would be the most compatible gun when facing multiple different situations. Only my opinion

the funny thing is, both guns are old. m16a1 appeared in the early vietnam war, and was quickly replaced by the m16a2. The AK-47 was replaced by the AK-74 in 1974 (hence the name ak-47 and 74.) i like the m16, cuz i go for accuracy more than firing speed.

I like them about the same but I like the m16 on WarRock (a game i play) and ak-47 better on CoD

I like tubing people with the M16 on Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It's funny how they react to it. The once called me a noob once for doing it. I don't see how that's noobish. There just mad because I killed them.

I've never even tried using the grenade launcher with the Ak-47. I'll probably do it in a little bit to just see what the difference is between that.

The Ak-47's recoil is just too much though. I can't properly aim with it.
