Just read a article about what may be the next Call of Duty game. OF course these are just rumors, but the game is suppose to include space marines and is in the future. What do you think? Is this a good or bad move for the franchise?
Bad.I agree with all that kacboy says and the fact that it would be weird fighting an army in space cause there would be like 50 people tied to a rocket ship.

Nice.
I say good, because it gives the devs more room to work. They don't need to use cliche enemies(axis, ruskies and terry wrists) and can pretty much **** around with the plot and weapons.
Example; Teleporting and handguns with the power of nukes
Argument: Both are impossible Counter Argument: **** you! It's the future.
Maybe futuristic, but not in space. And if they do decide to do a future one, make sure it's realistic; ask weapon makers and people like that about the future of weaponry. I mean I don't want it to be Call of Duty: laser edition.
Bad for space, could be prety cool for futuristic i would probly buy it. lol i like it that were alredy talking about the next COD even tho black ops just came out
Um... are you talking a about Black Ops? If so then the game is already out, go check for yourself. If your talking about another game... how could they already know what they are going to make. Some nerdy 14 year old who has no life probably posted that s*** on the internet. And the COD creators would NEVER do that. 1. Because it would piss off the COD fans. 2. Because there lead competitor is Halo. And it would be a bad move to do something EXACTLY like them. And I'm pretty sure the next COD game will be MW3 anyway...

It was published on a lot of the most prominent gaming media websites. He's not simply making this up, but I do think it's a contagious rumour. However, it really wouldn't surprise me. Activision only care about leaching money from the franchise now. It went from World War II to modern era back to the Vietnamese War(?). The formula has been pretty consistent, the setting has not bothered people as of yet.
