No hate. I can see where you're coming from But, 'meh'. If they were both 'new' to me, I'd have to go with WoW, despite its terrible (in comparison) graphics. Much better lore, for one
I got back into WoW when my son was born in Oct 08 (nothing else to do during the "night shift" while my wife slept. I soloed to level 80 and ended up in the typical scenario where I'd have to be in a raid to get better gear. No thanks... By the summer of 2009, I was bored of WoW, and got into the closed beta and open beta of Aion.
I immediately cancelled my THREE WoW accounts, and get on board with Aion. The storyline seems much smoother, and I find the game much more friendly to new players.
WoW always looked "cartoony" to me. When I got my Alienware M17x laptop late last year, and I got to play Aion in full graphics mode, I vowed never to renew my WoW membership.
The storyline seems much smoother, and I find the game much more friendly to new players.
In a nutshell, can you post (mostly) what the storyline is for Aion? plz Also, I don't know if it is more friendly, to be honest. I've never played Aion, and I haven't completely supported WoW (except Lore, I'm a wee-bit too sure about that) so I'm open to it
lol thanks for not hating on me (lol so far)
No problem!
Oh, that reminds me. Does Aion require a paid subscription? If not, then it seems very nice indeed!
