Both Games are Successful and Entertaining, my questions is, Is Black Ops Overall better or worse than Modern Warfare 2 in the multiplayer side of things.
Note: Ive only played these games on xbox, so my opinions are based of that.
Black ops multiplexer is seemingly harder, given that kill streaks are not stack able, Guns are harder to use (Seems to be less Damage), and registration isnt as smooth in comparison to Mw2.
With out question black ops, has introduced many ideas that fans could only dream of, Wager games, Contracts, Economy system etc.. It has too taken out Quick scopes, reduced campers and added a sense of fairness as each gun seems to not posses and overpowering feel.
Modern warfare however holds it Visual aspects over BO, The Guns looking more 'Legitimate' and feeling more realistic. Maps are IMO evenly scored as they both are well structured and designed. Black ops has added interaction within the maps, For example, Doors and switches can be used.
Overall Modern warfare is arguably 'better looking' However Blacks Game play seems to be Smoother and more en joyful. These question you must ask yourself is, Graphics Or Gameplay?

You need both. You need to gameplay to actual have the player do something, but you need good graphics to complement the grip gameplay can hold. Black Ops does Gameplay much better and Graphics equally.
To Conclude i myself enjoy Black ops more

Basically everything MW2 could've had, some would say SHOULD'VE had, but didn't. Incredible +
yes i would say black ops as it seams to be more fair no really way of cammping for nuke also i has a lot of diffrent maps sizes so good for all also i would say quick scoping is posable but requires more skill i have been trying on combat traning
i agree the buttons add depth to it also
it has Zombies which mack every game that has them 10% better
also i doen' seem to be as easy to hack fo hopfull no 15 prestege hacked people
Im a tester for Treyarch and Im suppose to say that Black Ops is superior but In my opinion keyword "Opinion" I think Black Ops looks to much like Battlefeild:Bad Company 2 but treyarch did do a good job buy stoping campers for nukes and balancing the guns out. Modern Warfare had so many problems with there severs (only have it for ps3 so i dont know about PC and Xbox) unbalanced guns, campers and ect... I personaly think that there both good games and i dont think that Black Ops is better than Modern Warfare and vice versa
i really dont know black ops looks really good- but owning mw2 i know thats preety cool i dont like black ops however, for the increase number of vulger words the characters use
in my Opinion i think (like most of the people in this thread)that black ops is much better i like and dislike at the same time the monny systum it can be iratateing, the one thing that i HATE about it is the fact that to get pro perks you have to compleet three chalages AND buy it when it costs 3000 COD points, other then that i love the game treyarc did an amazeing job with this game and its much better then MW2 in sooooooo many ways-killbynight

highly doubt this and i think black ops is more interesting because the customisation
I just played Black-Ops this weekend, and in my opinion they spent way to much time trying to make zombies. The campaign was exciting, but when you play multiplayer on PS3 they have everything unlocked so that your can't work up your levels to get guns... They're just there and ready to use. If they combined the features of Black-Ops and Mod2 it would be a very amazing game.
