I over did the HR's but the real secret is to NOT upgrade the researchers, they aren't worth upgrading, just keep piling more and more in and don't worry about the higher levels for them, just look, they don't gain much ability at higher levels just much more cost, you can afford 4-5 level one ressearchers for the cost of a level 4. for research start with people and turbo elevators, you want level2 janitors, accountants supervisors and workers as soon as possible, then get nice offices then once the acheivements start coming load on the researchers, money shouldn't be a problem,
6 Days 8 Hours (Easy): -I only had 32 workers total, on my first 2 floors, plus 16 accountants, 12 HR reps, then 4 managers per floor (after some testing this seems optimal) and lots of researchers -You don't need janitors, use HR to keep happiness at 100% and ignore trash -Managers will beat everyone, but only have an effect on workers - put 4 per floor with workers, and only sporadically on other floors -Don't promote anyone or upgrade anything, except: --1 promotion per worker --1 promotion per manager --1 promotion per accountant --1 promotion per HR rep --1 upgrade to deluxe office for workers --Besides basic offices, only build facilities required to achieve goals, and no more than needed -You only need 1 IT tech per couple floors to optimize income / minimize worker downtime -Spam first-level reserchers and basic offices -It takes 3618 manhours of research to research everything - get accountants & HR first, then just research whatever you need to accomplish goals (I suggest spamming researchers and setting it to research everything randomly after getting HR)
FWIW I've started a project to create a build order optimizer for beating Corporation Inc. I just started it, so it doesn't do much right now - however, for those curious, it does contain the complete tech tree, including what each tech allows you to do once researched, and how many manhours it takes to complete. Please note: I've renamed the technologies and the different worker / office types; for example, instead of "Worker" and "Senior Worker", you'll see WORKER_L1 and WORKER_L2
You just need to use the objectives for cash up until about 24, then you can skip them.
For me, I just put all my workers on the first floor, all across the map, with one office being managers. Add one of IT, Janitor and Accountants on the 2nd floor. Also add a few researchers.
Someone else said skip Janitors, I like to keep them and just skip HR.
Research Offices and People only in the beginning for the objectives.
Upgrade the Workers office and promote the workers.
By day 3 you should be able to complete the objectives up to 24. After that, you just spam Researchers. I probably could have done it faster if I created more workers to save up cash, then spam even more researchers.
I'm on like day 19 right now. I don't really have a strategy, I just get a ton of workers, about 10-20 IT's, about 5 Janitors, 10 Researchers, and about 5 or 6 Supervisors.
