Before I start, I do realize that there is a topic about ACB but I want to hear more of what people think about the ending...
So...Ezio hides the apple in the colloseum, then the gang (Desmond, Lucy, rebecca, and shaun) go there and get it. Shaun is about to say something that could be very important, when Desmond picks up the apple (or atleast I think he did) and accidently freezes time. He can't control himself and Minerva makes him kill Lucy. They both collapse. Credits. 2 men putting Desmond into the Animus. END
My lame theory(ies) : ...Lucy is probably alive, where Desmond stabbed her didn't seem too fatal. One of the voices during the creds is William (that guy in the emails) and the other is Subject 16. Before you say : "Wait what? Subject 16? He's dead!D_dude you're so stupid!" hear me out. There is an achievement on the Xbox360 (for ACB) for doing all of the Subject 16 glyphs. The name of it is in morse code. The message is : IAMALIVE (If you don't believe me, go find a morse code translator online, it's bery easy.) So this gives my theory about S16 some back-up. I have a feeling that Subject 16 will play a role in the next Assassin's Creed. For now, all we can really do is wait...oh and play Multiplayer.
well i dnt want to do the morse code thingy but heres something to say the devs always want there endings to be cliffhangers so think of it as a book well they arnt going to give the ending so obviously so pretty much there going to finish this game in the start of the next game. and wat there was voices in the credits would it have somethin to do with the fact i didnt go out of the animus or wat. also the trophy is also for ps3 get your facts strait
1. Heres my theory, bear with me....... So I'm AC1 Lucy has a missing finger, which shows shes an assassin. But in AC2 she doesn't. I believe that Lucy helped subject 16 hack and implant stuff into the animus and possibly helped him escape. Abstergo finally found out about this and had her killed. I say this because at the beginning of AC2 she runs in with blood all over her and no missing finger as far as i can tell. it would mean that they replaced Lucy with an impostor that killed the real Lucy. (its the future, they have memory machines! they can prolly clone or disguise people!) This links to why Lucy is always gone and possibly helping Abstergo, and the really cheesy attack at the end of AC2(they didnt even try to take desmond, they didnt even bring guns!) i think it was planned to give them a false sence of hope and kill suspicion of lucy. It also links to subject 16 saying "shes not who you think she is" and why the apple makes you stab her, because she is in the way of saving the world. I believe the next game is you finding eve and searching for temples. one of which i believe will be a mayan temple to the sun god that they worshiped. And, on the theory of Desmonds son, i thinks its plausile your living the memories through desmond's son. 2. ORRRR..... bum bum bum, your seeing the future through the point of subject 16, this would explain how he talks to desmond through the program because they talk like its a conversation. He could se into the future with the apple to know what to do and what to say to desmond to help him.
Regardless of what happens in the next game i want to see more of subject 16.
it would mean that they replaced Lucy with an impostor that killed the real Lucy.
This might mean that the other person Minerva was talking about is the "real" Lucy who Desmond is supposed to find or something (if Desmond is possibly a descendent of Adam, then this person could be a descendent of Eve).
Regardless of what happens in the next game i want to see more of subject 16.
Heres my theory, bear with me....... So I'm AC1 Lucy has a missing finger, which shows shes an assassin [quote] Lucy does not have a missing finger in AC1 she only bends it back to reveal to Desmond that she is also an assassin.
she only bends it back to reveal to Desmond that she is also an assassin.
I just realized something : Assassins don't need to get their fingers removed...atleast not anymore. Leonardo told Ezio that he didn't have to chop off his finger. So why would modern day assassins have to? Oh, and another thing, I think I know the answer but are the Assassins losing?
well in ac2 it clearly states that they are talking to desmond in acb i wasnt payin attention i had to go to the bathroom heres the thing whats the point in the said person going into the animus to desmonds memorys because if anything the war is over and the assassins win or lose unless the decendant of desmond goes in the next day becuase most wars are ended in 5 years and the current one against the templars and assassins has lasted for a while now i think its ten years if i remember correctly
4.It suggest that Desmond is also a memory in AN animus.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. Who's to say that another individual is in an animus reliving Desmond's memories as he reliving Ezio's/Altiar's memories? What if all four of them are in amini and killing Lucy is the only way to release her from hers thereby helping him to get out of his?
