So late last night a thought occured to me about the english language.I thought about the many words we are losing because almost every freaking person I see thinks about sex when someone says a perfectly normal word.For example balls is a word mistaken for something else.Why else do you think we are losing english words?
In a way, the English language is getting more words. Now words, like ball, have more then 1 definition, so you can use them in different ways. Like I could say "I play with balls" and you could interpret that in 2 different ways, so it's like we're getting new words. We have ball- The round rubber inflatable and ball- a mans nuts.
it is a mixture of cultural advancement (or lack), slang, and the effect of culture on the way people think. For most teens (especially now), Many words/terms have a hidden sexual meaning that most adults probably wouldn't understand (Hence TWSS).
Well that happens a lot to me to, It is just a bunch of immature people who thinks its funny. You could say something now and then people crack up because to them it has a way different meaning!
ahhhh, i know this is the opposite of this threads purpose, but me and my friend (hes 12, im 13) were reading a history book and (yes its immature) could NOT stop laughing when we read that humans were once 'homo erectus'
