Lol, I'm surprised this thread has lasted almost three months. And it has nothing but cats. Honestly, I love both dogs and cats. Can't really get a cat though. (Stupid allergies...)

Personally, I love cats, probably since i have been with several of them every day since I was born. This includes a couple that, apparently, have skeletons of cartilage. Seriously, I hold them in my hand and they sorta...melt.
I think I am the only one who doesn't find cat pictures funny.

I have had 15 street cats. They were funny and cute and I used to fees them every they. But I had a dog too. And they always liked to fight against my dog and my dog always lost.
My cousin told me once that he made an experience with a cat. It always falls on foot and he could not understand it. He threw the cat in the air and it fell on foot. He threw it higher and he fell on foot. So, he got frustrated, soaked the cat and threw it in the electric wire. The cat felt a big shock but it still fell on foot and it was still alive. That is why they are awesome. By the way, I would never do it to a cat, my cousin did it and he felt sorry for it.

Cat are not awesome. Cats can be great but they have only a few useful applications such as catching mice. Dogs can do that and so much more. If you want to hear a list of 100 good and usefull things about dogs, just ask. But note that i'll have to do it tommorrow afternoon and you'll have to remind me.
I like cats more because they are far more independent. I found a cat outside and I would feed it occasionally but then I went on vacation to a different state and when I came back home the cat was still there. I wonder how the cat caught his/her food. It must've just hunted the food or something like that.
If that were the same situation with a dog then the dog would probably be thirty pounds lighter and very sickly.
Cats just seem to be more laid back then dogs. They are more relaxed. With dogs they like to play. That's great and all but there has to be a limit. I don't mind smaller dogs like baby pit bulls or any other small one. But if they get bigger it gets harder to maintain them and they can get messy.
I notice that my cat does far more funny things then what my dog can accomplish. The fence I have in my backyard the cat can leap over that with being so small. My dog is big and can't even manage to get over the fence.
Cats use the litter box while the dogs would use the house unless you get up every hour to take the dog outside then clean up the mess.
