i have my xbox hooked up to a laptop providing wireless from my router which is bout 3 rooms away(10-25 feet) i have a severe lag whenever i try to play online on MW2, Black Ops, etc... anyone know how to stop this lag?
if it is 25 feet away, it should be able to still maintain a strong signal. you may want to search online how to boost that signal from your laptop.
I used to do this too my first year in college since i would have to buy a router box for my dorm. obviously im poor so that is what i did. and it worked fine. you may have to get better internet for your house (ISP) and or it could just be xb server issues.
dont hook up to ur laptop for one get wired its better connection or put it closer or get better internet provider
