for me, i thik kingdom hearts has great songs, thanks to utada hikaru. then you got your final fantasy, but metal gear solid 4 suprised me with its soundtracks, it was really good

Arcanum has beautiful and unique soundtrack. Such a melancholic melodies.
Also first Diablo soundtrack(catacombs, dungeon, caves, hell). Pure evil in the sound.

Lord of the Rings games, the Halo games (I only bought the later Halo games for their soundtrack), and let us not forget one of the best soundtracks in video game history : Shadow of the Colossus.
