you see all these movies about alien invasions out there. you see aliens collecting humans in spaceships and doing foul surgery to humans. you see them killing cows, building machines, take over the world. have you noticed something about all of that acting?
well I have, its all human stuff. what species out there rules the world mass kills cows and does surgery? are we afraid of ourselves? is it just bad thoughts about war or are we really afraid of aliens? or are we afraid aliens will have our familiar powers?....
On a deeper level I think that many screenwriters use the sci-fi medium, and especially aliens, as a way to portray a critique of human society while presenting it in a medium that is viewed as entertaining as opposed to an openly critical commentary about societal issues. However it could just be that it's fun to write about aliens
well then if its just fun then are we offenisve to ourselves? and i agree on the social issues thing, that can be said about avatar and planet terra and some which indicate the destructive behavior of mankind. if we ever find a hospitable planet with peaceful creatures in it. will we be the invaders or will we forget our destructive senses and let them be???
That's just what a movie says about differnt lifeforms from differnt planets. I personally believe there are other lifeforms out there on some distant planet trying to contact other lifeforms just like us. Although it's not like there going to make war with us right away even if we did find "aliens". Plus to them they might think were the "aliens".
It's just a storyline made by someone who wants to make money. If I thought up a story about an alien invasion, would that mean that I am fearing one?
As for 'it's all human stuff', yes I agree. How could we know what aliens look like? Do they have do have legs and arms? Maybe they could pick things up by.. I don't know.. Force Fields or some thing.
The truth is we don't know about aliens. There has been no recorded and proved alien contact in the many thounsands of years humans have been around.
