You have seven different items that you get while running around killing stuff. They are:

Animal Hide
Demon Tooth
Oak Leaf
Fire Stone
Cursed Bone
Blue Crystal
Monster Claw

The combinations are obvious, but the summoning power isn't. Here is a list of what the combinations are, what they are, and what their power does:

Animal Hide & Demon Tooth -> Guardian = Your units become invulnerable to missiles.
Animal Hide & Oak Leaf -> Seraph = All units heal over time.
Animal Hide & Fire Stone -> Daemon = All units gain flame attacks.
Animal Hide & Cursed Bone -> Reaper = All enemies lose HP over time.
Animal Hide & Blue Crystal -> Blade = All melee units deal double damage.
Animal Hide & Monster Claw -> Savage = All melle units gain lifesteal.
Demon Tooth & Oak Leaf -> Treant = Enemies entangled and move at half speed.
Demon Tooth & Fire Stone -> Daemon = All units gain flame attacks.
Demon Tooth & Cursed Bone -> Serpent = Units gain dodge and poison attacks.
Demon Tooth & Blue Crystal -> Fox = All Units attack twice as fast.
Demon Tooth & Monster Claw -> Savage = All melle units gain lifesteal.
Oak Leaf & Fire Stone -> Reaper = All enemies lose HP over time.
Oak Leaf & Cursed Bone -> Serpent = Units gain dodge and poison attacks.
Oak Leaf & Blue Crystal -> Seraph = All units heal over time.
Oak Leaf & Monster Claw -> Treant = Enemies entangled and move at half speed.
Fire Stone & Cursed Bone -> Blade = All melee units deal double damage.
Fire Stone & Blue Crystal -> Frosty = All units gain frost attacks.
Fire Stone & Monster Claw -> Daemon = All units gain flame attacks.
Cursed Bone & Blue Crystal -> Frosty = All units gain frost attacks.
Cursed Bone & Monster Claw -> Savage = All melle units gain lifesteal.
Monster Claw & Blue Crystal -> Fox = All Units attack twice as fast.
