I'm sure everyone has a particular manga they like for the story line. But I wanted to see what was popular from an artistic perspective.
List your top manga and explain why. Just try to avoid posting any spoilers towards the actual storyline for this potentially interested.
Personally I like.
1. Gantz - More so in his last and most recent arc, if you can look past the vast amounts of gore and porn in the scenes the landscapes are just amazing. One of the few mangas I can just sit and look through every pane in wonder at the sheer imagination and skill the artist has in designing a futuristic/alien background.
I meant best manga in regards to it's actual drawing. But if your not familiar with a lot of various manga and just want to state your favorite I guess that's fine too.
Akira (Katsuhiro Otomo) mechas and punk sci fi world Blade of the Immortal (Hiroaki Samura) sword battle action GantZ (Hiroya Oku) you rigth there, good ink Homunculus (Hideo Yamamoto) buildings, perspectives Naruto (Masashi Kishimoto) characters movement
Dragon Head (Minetaro Mochizuki) dark ambient... XD u gonna feel it Monster (Naoki Urasawa) buildings too and some classical feeling
