Hello i need a bit of help and i am getting a bit mad with it too.

Why are my comments getting removed all the time?

I am NOT spamming and/or saying JUST 1-7 words. Why is that? can any 1 help? I just do not know what is going on here.

I re-titled your topic.

Send me an Email and I'll see if I can send you some stats about what's been removed for your account.

The only cleanup *I've* been doing has been on game comments, and we've been clearing out short comments over the past week or so, and we still have lots to do.

It's also possible that the cleanup, which is happening on the database side, is not updating post counts or points until the next time you do something as a user.

You also mentioned on my profile that your browser was blocking you from posting comments too? Is that still happening?

Here, learn from me :
If you ever placed : i like this game, this game is good, anything like that, then you lose comment and points, because your comment isn't worth nothing. Try This game should be longer/ have more levelsl/ better music, comments that contribute to community. I lost 1500 points on that, so you can trust me when i say that any non-contributing comment is considered a spam

I think the ratings work as a way to tell the game author you didn't like it and the comments are how you tell the author what you would like to see in the game to improve it. So something like I don't like the game. Isn't much. But if you said (as one post) "the controls could be more responsive, more levels, more upgrades, disperse the upgrades more evenly through out the game, the final boos was too difficult." That might be a little better as a comment.

I believe that when a game is good then you should think of ways it might be better, and if it wasn't good then you should ponder about the many different things that were wrong with the game and tell them (in a respectable manner) because they might learn something and actually fix the problem in their future games.

Reton8 that is true, and that is how comments should work

Also, see this thread.

In a nutshell, we're doing a massive cleanup of "spam" -- our rules about it have been around for years saying that short comments will be removed without notice. Comments like "great" or "i like it" or "cool game" are being removed from the system.

We also need other users' help identifying game comments of non-English words, nonsensical (gibberish) words, obvious spam of repeating the same word over and over, or comments like "cooooooooooooooooooooooooooolllllllllllllllllllllll" ... all of those need to be cleaned up.

Thanks for your help.

If you want to help us with finding gibberish/etc, just flag comments you feel are not appropriate.
