Personally handheld is a toss up. I have owned both a PSP and a DS, and they both have great qualities. The PSP has a nice screen, and a great game selection along with the ability to show movies. However, the touch screen ability of the DS and a very different selection of games makes it a tough competitor, and is almost in a different market when it comes to certain features and games.

For my DS; Pokemon Platinum,Fifa 09. For my GBA;Lord of the Rings the Third Age. I like DS lite bettr because you can play DS and GBA games.

DS. I like the normal control pad for some games and then the touch screen for others. + pokemon is on there, and I love those games. :3

PSP for God of War Ghosts of Sparta. Gosh God of War is one of the best action games in the world.

Gameboy - > Pokemon yellow and earlier. Never got into anything else and probably never will. Prefer the computer if i wanted good graphics games.

Gameboy and DS. GBA Zelda's are my fav. and the DS is super fun sometimes with crazy combos f the D-Pad and Touch Screen.

PSP. I dislike the DS's games. GTA games for PSP are just pure awesome'ness.

I would pick a psp since I've always loved Sony. It was always fun. I've never even tried the gameboy.
Reasons for liking psp: internet, downloadable games, nice lcd screen, good button layout, backgrounds you can get. Just about everything I like.

My first handheld was a gameboy advanced and I really liked it. I liked playing Donkey Kong in there. and other games. its the best classic handheld.

I would go with a PSP. More multimedia options and its games (some mentioned by others) suit my tastes. The DS isn't shabby either.

Ipod touch and yes it is a gaming device.... It can play games like need for speed and still has good graphics. It can tilt, spin, rotate, whatever for the controls and i find it a lot better than psp or gameboy because it's smaller and funner!!!

PSP because DS and GBA games are always short or they have really bad graphics!
