I will do so. However, I don't think they care about a site on the internet. Point still stands that it is unreasonable to compare cars and spoons, because they have one common point.

As for the - topic: If forced, I would go with LotR. It was some great books, I really did enjoy.

As everyone else is saying you cant compare them! Actually it just happens to be that these 3 (trilogies, series, movies) are my favorite of all time (Harry Potter included). Star Wars has tons more action than Star Trek(at least in the original series which is what I watch), but Star Trek shines in it's brilliance. Has anyone here seen Mirror,Mirror or the one about V-Ger=Voyager? These were amazing! Nothing can beat them. LOTR is cool but should not be in this forum.
My brother made me watch the trilogy first and then 1, 2, 3. I agree the originals are much better but we needed 1, 2, 3 to explain how exactly anakin/vader was luke's father. Son i think it was good that they made the prequels otherwise it wouldn't be good.

I'm not against having the prequels I'm against the fact that George Lucus had so much creative control over the plot of said prequels. The originals were not directed by Lucas, he was only the screenwright. However, George Lucas fails at directing and producing, and creating adequate plot for prequel. Example: In A New Hope one of Vader's admirals refers The Force as an acient religion. 15 years pass between Epissode 3 and 4. 15 years would not make something remotely ancient.
