I hate it when people who are cheering for a team that I am not a fan of saying that my team sucks. Today I was watching the football game between the Giants and Redskins. My friends were Redskin fans and kept on saying that Giants suck. Well guess who won? The Giants ripped the Redskins 7 to 31. Sometimes I feel like cursing out these kinds of people.

This probably belongs somewhere else, but I agree. The Redskins stink, and no matter what team you root for, they've had their ups and downs.

While this does probably belong in the tavern, yes people get a little riled up over sports rivalries, and get way too extreme with it. Honestly I don't knock either side of a game, it is called being sportsmanlike.

I'm a Jets fan. I go to a school where there are many Giants fans. We do not play the Giants at all, and we probably won't for a while, and they all say the Jets suck. This is why I hate Giants fans for life. But you are a Giants fan though lol. This is the same with Patriots fans and Miami Dolphins fans, and Ravens fans.

Same happened to me. The Bears were down 17-20. And my friends were saying how they suck, well if they suck soo bad, why'd they win 24-20.

Someone that's not a retard or negative towards the Jets! I've had people on AG write to me and be like "Hey Paul Ravens R awsum and dA Jets suk!" And that's just a very ignorant statement on their part because: 1. It shows they know nothing about football and 2. It show's they're not good sports.

But anyway, tonight's game is going to be a tough game for us (as in the Jets). Brady's basically the number 1 QB in the league now and even with our good defense it could be difficult to deal with Brady because he has really good receivers. He's got Welker and Branch, and then he has two nasty tight ends. Plus he has home field advantage. Their defense is pretty good too. Should be interesting.

I think that the Jets will win, because Mark Sanchez creates enough scoring opportunities for their defense, who is good enough to win it for them as long as their offense generates moderate offense. Besides, they'll have confidence after the win in week 2.

Seems odd that a Ravens fan would say the Jets suck when they aren't even rivals. However, when your a Steelers fan like me, you get them all the time. I live in south central PA, so my entire school is split between Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Baltimore, so I get "Steelers suck" quite a bit.
tonight's game should be interesting nonetheless, as it basically is the decider for winner of the AFC East. of course, both teams will probably go to the playoffs, but it always helps to win your division. I'm picking the Jets to win. if they can do what they did in their first game versus the Pats, they should be fine... I think.

Waluigi, congrats on beating the Ravens with a crippled starting quarterback! Some defense those Ravens have...

Our season opener... We lost because of one terrible, terrible call where they said Braylon Edwards was trying to block the field goal. That set the Ravens up for a TD since they were on 4th down but then went to 1st down. I wanted to shoot the refs. Jets should've won...

Another reason why refs are dumb. They broke Roethlisberger's nose, and had an obvious facemask on him. No flag. And then the Ravens defender slammed into the Steelers receiver's helmet. No Flag.

everyone has a right to opinion but you shouldn't cuss out another team just because you dont like them.

I feel sorry for referees, they'll always be hated! But sometimes they make bad calls and pretty much deserve the abuse. Anyone remember the bottle throwing at Cleveland?

I concur, jjrocks! Well said indeed.

That would be Heath Miller. He looked hurt pretty bad, as he didn't move his arm for about a minute while it was up in the air. Luckily, he was able to walk off the field, but with the way the NFL has been this year, those refs may get fired for missing that helmet to helmet.

They fined the Ravens defender for that hit I heard. But still. No flag? And they should fine who ever got lucky to not get a flag on the facemask on Big Ben. They're wasting their time dropping fines on James Harrison.

Based on how many times he got to big ben in the game, I'm guessing that Tyrell Suggs was who broke his nose.
