there are 3 endings. the one you got, the good one and the medium one. the good one: dont get any gems and climb back from the far left side. youl need the parachute and the climbing hands. unless you wont get the lightning to get the fruit of youth you will need many endurance fruits. the other one is by collecting enough gems so he will bring you home but not all of the gems. i think there might be another one though. try killing 10 creatueres to get the lightning teleport.
there is a part on the right side where you can get into the water (i think the second time) then you can go left into a cave. in that cave you will see a maze like place when you fall and can get a jewel and the parachute. after you get what you want continue to the left. eventually you will see the climbing hands. in one point there is a place on the right where you have to jump with the parachute to the right in order to skip a little pond after doing this you will see a high place with an endurance fruit. climb it and then parachute to the left. you will see a something green to climb on. on the top there is the lightning power up. then continue to the far left untill the end. you will see something you can climb on thats really high. eventually you will start going to the right. there is the fruit of youth but you need to use the lightning power up in order to get it
I beat it by climbing back up. I used the parachute, climbing gloves, and fruit of youth. There were no tags attached, I didn't become evil, and everyone lived happily ever after. On the far right, past the mountain is the wall that you climb, and when you reach the top, you're home.
