A bunch of games won't load on my computer, but they will load on others. What's wrong with my computer?

I get movies (including the Armor Games logo animation) but NO GAME!

This same thing happens to me with a few games too. Such as;SteamBirds, SteamBirds:Survival, Endless War Defense, Into Space and a few other games. On my old computer it worked just fine, but since I bought this new computer some games just show a black screen, as well as on other sites, so I'm sure you just got to download or update something. I don't know what though.

all u have to do is download or install nthe latest java or other stuff then u will be just fine

This happens to me 2 for Flight, Corporation inc etc i think its because my sound card driver got deleted somehow

is there anyway for you to disable this setting so i can actually play the game?

If you're sound is disabled on the conrtrol panel, or you dont have speaker, the game doesnt start.


Why would sound be necessary in certain games?
