you were a ranger, your grandfather a legend that died fighting off foul creatures aiming to destroy the land. The demons were after an ancient artifact, if the artifact is destroyed a power of evil that is invincible would be unleashed upon the world, your dad died killing a warlock that wanted to destroy the artifact. yeras later the artifact was found by a peasent and served him as a tax to the king, the king found the artifact and let the priests find out the artifact's prophecy, though they mis-interpreted it, telling the king the destroyer of the artifact would become invincible in strength, and so the king wanted to destroy it, though it could only be destroyed in the middle of the elf forest, a place protected by a gigantic animal guardian. He heard of you, you had a knack for making animals trust you, and in fighting monsters too, he also knew about the mark, the ranger's mark. That sacred mark passed on generation to generation in your family gives its owner an enchatment making monsters and animals alike trust you and not attack you. And so he sent you on a quest to kill the guardian, in return he promised to give you the artifact which you knew the actual prophecy of, you killed the guardian and wanted to claim your price, but the king had evil in his heart, and so he set an assasin to kill you once you were in the castle and make it look like he was trying to get the artifact too, only he didn't succed, you understood your situation quick enough.. and so you grabed the artifact, charged out the castle and rode your steed to safety, there are still assasins on your tracks, you have to finally keep the artifact safe!

by the way thank you Sonic and oh, I forgot, I have a LOT of secrets in this game that are kind of extra that you can find to really tell what happened that you don't understand. It's kind of like ester eggs I don't expect you to find but you still may find them if you are intelligent and want to explore more of the game...

oh and after making up my mind and thinking I should stay and make more RPGs I have another (hopefully) great game coming up that has to do with Norse mythology... with a twist to it...

"shoo" i yell at it. "and stop confusing me, i don't know what you are and it's realy peeving me," I turn right around and walk towards the cave. I didn't care if it was behind me anymore. i just walked back to the cave. and then back down the hill to the village. I was going to get those hundred silvers. And if this thing wanted to it could follow me to the end of the earth.

as you just say shoo you don't complete your sentence before the wolf runs off.

You go back to the village. It is crowded and lives up as ever. Sheep gnawing on grass. Poor men and women crouch in the street and beg for money. Kids go around playing happily unaware of the world around them. Street musicians playing old tunes while people don't notice.

It is by far a regular morning.

oh and pyr0 this game's world is not necessarily the earth, like in most fantasies. The world itself is mostly undiscovered and who knows how many mighty empires there might be out there or in another verse of the great multiverse...

This story though is mostly centered around a place called the "continent" which has a variety of regions and is mostly ruled by the "kingdom" of which king you just made very upset...


as for Talow:
legend of the kraken:
legend tells of a mighty beast called the "kraken" which is (as we at least think) a colossal octopus with great power that defends the great sealing island. No one has ever quite seen him but priests of the oceanus still tell the story of its greatness. The only person ever said to see the kraken was a heroic captain of a voyager ship three hundred years back. Captain Tanren and his crew were exploring the east waters when the water all around turned black. As they waited they noticed there was actually a figure underneath them. They were too late to think though as a gigantic tentacle arose from their water and sunk their ship with a single horrifying strike. the only survivor was the keeper of the escape boats that managed to get away. he also found his captain's diary and brought it back to shore. Even though it was soaked and most of the ink was gone the council and the priests managed to pull out one sentence "black water is the shape of an octopus and I worry tis' the kraken..." the man who brought back the diary with him though went crazy and started having hallucinations of huge tentacles erupting from the ground and crushing his house to bits.

I walk through the streets and head stright for zephi's farm. I knock roughly on the door and wait for him to open it. The whole sheep porblem might just be over.

Talow:
the mun'kha people believe that the end of everything will come when "the monsters" will be awakened. They say that some when no one expects so the horrible sea monsters will awaken and destroy the seal island and thus summon the great "livyatan" which will spew water made of fire all over the land. They also say that a night before "the end" will happen the great lights of the sky will turn red and water itself will be turned into lava and the world will burn until a single speck of dust will remain and build itself over again creating a new, more peaceful world.

"It might be over zephi" i said, " now find a seat a let me explain what happened over night and into the morning. When he found i seat i started to tell him what happened. ( i realy want to actualy type this, surprisingly) The first night i was tired hungry and thirsty, and just i i saw something i fell asleep, it was sort a blue light. Then i called mustang and told him to wake me up when something happened. and he did, and i wasn't tired that time. I went after this light and saw a giant wolf like beast. I chased it off luckily and it went into a cave up the hill, full of bones. Then i went in and it shrunk when i said ' you have to leave' it followed me for a while and then i shoo'd it off. Im going to stay here one more night to make sure it doesn't come back. But if it doesn't its probably gone for good." and as i finished i gave him a big smile.

seal island:

the island of the seal is a sacred island to the mun'kha tribe and considered to be a mystery. It has officially been discovered by Captain Tanren, a man who led a voyager ship and a group of men to discover the world outside the continent. The contents of the island are unknown since the Captain and most of his crew died mysteriously 300 years ago. To know the story of how they died read the story of the kraken. Ever since then different voyager ship went looking for the mysterious island and have either returned with no result or disappeared. The name of the island was given to it by the mun'kha tribe and while explorers and priests alike tried finding why the mun'kha called it that way have got no result.

"right..." he says slowly "so you are sayig a giant wolf ate all ma' sheep and then when to shood him he suddenly shrunk" Zephi says "that sounds like a big pile of sheep poo!!" he says angrily "but what'ya know I'll give you a chance" he says picking up his bottle of liquor "I'm too desperate anyways" he says then chugging a mouthful of liquor and shaking himself weirdly

Talow you do remember pretty much the only people that know about the legend of the artifact are some rangers, the elves and the king's priests which mis-interpreted it...

no, the book has NOTHING about the artifact

oh right... hmm... i wonder... if this Artifact is infact the key to breaking the seal... that'd be very bad. i guess i leave and stay at the inn(tavern... whatever it's called) for tonight...
