Karl Marx created the idea of having a perfect society with no government. He thought that for a short period of time, the government would own everything, and then it would transition to the people owning everything. Its obvious where this went wrong, but he meant no harm.
She doesnt gain anything from having a rich Church.....
She was a religious zealot and a hypocrite. She advanced herself by advancing the suffering of others(she believed that suffering was the only way to reach God, so she made other people suffer so that SHE could feel closer to God). She also took money from people like Charles Keating, a thief and liar. She took money from rich people whose money was stolen from the poor people, and she spent it on the church.
Adolf Hitler was insane. Warning, the following statement is politically incorrect: His idea of selection for um, breeding in eliminating the "lesser gene pool" might be good as then society would have less health problems and such.
@Ghgt99 - advocates of eugenics fail to understand both evolution and Social Darwinism. Not that I'm advocating Social Darwinism, but proponents of eugenics don't realize that Social Darwinism is a much more moral alternative to their forced killing, and it is the most objective way to selecting out certain unfavorable genes in a population, as the totalitarian method is much more subjective and thus has too much room for error.
Mao gets my vote for number one. The decisions he made as leader of China were nothing short of completely insane. And of course he was hypocritical in that he lived a life of extreme luxury whilst his people lived in abject poverty and/or starved. Horrible man.
PETA, they are against animal testing yet their leader has type 2 diabetes. The treatment for which come from animal testing. I have several friends who would be dead without their insulin.
