Welcome to Sauce Clan's winter colony tournament thread!
The tourney will MOST LIKELY begin sometime around December 19th, 2010. This date is subject to change, however.
Here are some of the basic and DEFINITE settings regarding this tourney:
-All matches will be 2v2 -All matches will be normal type -Match-ups will be made randomly -You can choose who you want your teammate to be -Once teams and match-ups are made, the teams can figure out when they want to have their matches on their own. There will be deadlines for each round of matches, so as long as you get your match done and the results posted in this thread or the Winter Tourney (2v2 norm) category, everything will be just fine. -The deadlines for each round of matches should be approximately one week. However, if your team does not get your match done in time, then the team that continues will be chosen based on activity (if you clearly made effort to get the match done, more than your opponents have, then your team will get to continue). If there is still a tie, then I will flip a coin or something like that.
Eight teams will be competing in this tournament. If a lot more people want to participate, then this number COULD increase.

I'mma not even in the clan, but I think it's interesting. Lol. I probably won't be able to join, but I'm bored. And I don't care exactly who my partner is as long as they don't suck completely.
Colony Username: Same as this username. Time Zone: Mountain Standard Time Best Time For Playing: Uh...just pitch a time to me and I'll tell ya if that's good.

Assuming that all of these people participate, we have 12 people, and we need 4 more.
You guys can pick who you want as your teammate. If you want a specific person who hasn't signed up yet, now would be a good time to ask them to sign up.
Depending on how this goes, the tourney might begin tomorrow as planned originally, or it may be pushed back a day or two, but nothing major.
Also, in regards to match recording, if anyone that has signed up is able to record matches (with things like hypercam or whatever), then please tell me.
PowerOfSauce, I won't be participating in this tournament since I'm still taking a break from Colony, and I've been really busy lately. Could you tell me the results when it's over?

Also, it doesn't seem like the tourney will be able to begin today (December 19th) as originally planned. I'll be delaying the tournament until December 21st D: Sorry for any inconvenience. However, during this time, you should do your best to get your partners figured out. Once you have that done, you must post who your partner is in this thread so that I know what the teams are. If you don't get a partner by the time the tournament starts, I will assign you a random one.
This is a (possibly) for me, I really can't get on much in the past and next few weeks I'll see if I can figure something out. In the meantime, good luck to everyoneeee ^^

We have 17 people right now, which is 1 more than we need. This is fine, since a few people are not 100% sure on whether or not they're going to participate.
It looks like the tourney's first round will begin tomorrow. Once it begins, the deadline for the first round of matches will be December 26, 2010.
Since I am only aware of one team (tdh and MBA), I won't post updated tourney brackets yet. Make sure that you guys grab a teammate, or else I will have to assign people to random partners.
Please post in this thread, in my profile, or something like that every now and then, in order for me to be absolutely sure that you are still active. If I think that somebody who signed up for the tourney is no longer active, then that person MAY BE KICKED OUT. You have been warned.
Myself, I enjoy the teamwork aspect of the game a lot. Sire. a bad teammate can really mess you up(the reverse is also possible), but I think that 2v2 is more fun, plus it gives you more room to concentrate on one thing and let your partner concentrate on another.
