As we get ready to migrate our game ratings to AG3, I need to clean up some entries. It appears we've had some lag issues with submitting game ratings causing some duplicate ratings to end up in the system. Because our new system will require a unique pairing of user ID and game ID, I must go through and delete any duplicate entries. This will have the unfortunate effect of lowering the game rating count and points for some users.
In one case, for example, a user submitted 16 ratings for the same game. This kind of thing needs to get cleaned up ASAP.
The cleanup is finished and will be added to an ongoing cleanup process similar to some of the spam cleanup we've been doing in case the lag monster rears its ugly head again.

I pride AG for doing this. It shows people that spamming is pointless. Like I've said before, if you can't write a post with more than 5 words, then you shouldn't get to keep the 2 points.
I think it would be a good idea to have a limit for least amount of words. such as if i post, on lets say man in gap "this game stinks" since its under 5 words, it is auto-deleted, know what i'm sayin'?
Why do you always sign off like that? We all know who wrote the post...
Anyway, I haven't noticed any point loss, and I hope you weren't all on your own on this, searching through millions of game ratings... it must have been a pain, however you did it. It's good that the 'lag monster' will have his evil plots foiled once again.
The game rating cleanup is all finished ... actually has been for some time now. We just had to double check that users only had one rating per game, and adjust their points accordingly.
