What was your childhood fear? Mine was car-washes! I used to scream and cry while stuffing my head in my arms when I saw water spraying from all sides of the car! At least I got over it years ago =P

I was terrified that ET (from the movie "ET&quot was under my bed covers and it would touch me if I fell asleep. Not funny.

The light, the dark, blood, clowns, impending nuclear holocaust, global warming, global dimming, the spread of some incurable fatal disease, a meteorite hitting the earth, demons (very prominent in my nightmares actually and part of the reason I sought solace in books - I owe a lot to my demons really), fire, flooding aaand death.

I was afraid of the dark and afraid of being left alone. Nothing most people aren't afraid of when they are children.

This^

Also, I remember that I usually slept facing the wall, because I was afraid that something, like a monster or something, would just jump out in front of me. I didn't really believe in ghosts or monsters, but I was afraid of them anyways. Even though I was sure of that such things couldn't happen, the "what if" thoughts made me fear it anyways.

And, as Avorne said:
... a meteorite hitting the earth... ...aaand death

Oh, and Avorne... You were afraid of the light and the dark? The light? Really? Could you explain that part a bit more?

I remember being afraid of the girl in the movie, Ring. Watched it with my family when I was like eight, but the scariest part was when the phone rang literally right as the credits started to roll. Avoided the TV for the next week I was so scared. Besides that, I was sorta afraid of near total darkness when I was younger.

One of my most prominent fears I had when i was younger was the "angry eyebrows". They were a monster that showed up in 99% of my nightmares. They were a pair of super angry, over-sized eyes, with a massive unibrow, that showed up above my doorway. They bounced across the room until they "got" me. It was the scariest thing in the world.

It might not be funny to you but to a reader i nvr heard of "angry eyebrows" and it's an interesting concept

I really think its funny how I was afraid of Monsters Inc when I was younger, at the same age I laughed at the whole exorcist movie.

The ring, saw, any horror movie. And the dark. Kinda stupid for a 13 year old when you think about it. =P
