Well, I have a problem that I cannot seem to fix! I've been googling and can't find a decent answer.

I am using Chrome browser 8.0.552.224

All of the sudden today my space bar decided to start scrolling the page instead of working with the flash game like it should. I was playing Flight and every time I punch that space bar, it scrolls.

I have never had this problem before today a few moments ago. I'm not sure what changed or adjusted itself.

Any ideas from anyone on what to do? This REALLY inhibits flash game playing.

Ghgt99, Windows don't have the same obvious access to program settings as Mac - no nice "Apple icon/Program name/File/Settings/ etc..." thing on the bar.

I still know nothing about solving it, though.

I've seriously sifted through about 20 + pages of google searching of forums, trouble shooting, etc. I am completely stumped. It has to be fixable because it was not happening 2 days ago.

Okay it is not just Chrome, it happens in IE and firefox. So, this HAS to be a problem on my computer. Running scans to find out.

Are you frequently pressing the space bar? Because my computer does the same thing. Although on my laptop i keep hitting the pad and when i backspace i lose all my work XD. Anyways, its just the default of the computer :l

When this happened did you do anything? If you can think back......that might help.
I am not good with computers so thats my solution.

Okay, I found the fix. I uninstalled the an extension called smooth scroll. Then with a restart, it seems to be working just fine. What I do find odd is, it wasn't just in Chrome.

Hmmm...I don't know now. Something I have done has fixed the issue. Nonetheless, I am locking this.
