I've always been curious about this, seeing as how I don't really believe in anything, why do people believe what they do? Were you raised that way and that's why, or do you simply want it to be a certain way, or perhaps you think some are more logical than others? Please don't flame others...

I believe in religion because it gives me purpose. To believe in nothing is to not have any greater purpose in life. I chose my own beliefs and nobody has affected my decision to believe what I believe.

I believe in nothing but logic, reasoning and demonstratable evidence - these have led me to reject almost all religions as being foolish and blinding.
