I've looked at dozens of YouTube videos on what to use for jailbreaking. They range from Redsn0w, to Sn0wbreeze, to GreenPois0n, to LimeRa1n.

There is this website on how a RedSn0w beta version is in the works and will come out soon, but I can't wait because I'm going on vacation in two days.

I went to this site, with a link provided from iCrackUriDevice. I don't know if I should revert to 4.0. The thing is, I received my iPod Touch already at 4.1, but it was refurbished.

Should I revert it to 4.0 or 4.1? Should I even revert it at all? If I do revert it and it is successful, which do I use? Greenpois0n, Redsn0w, Limera1n? Which?

I need to have 4.0 or lower. My question was if I should revert back to 4.0. Should I?

A reversion to 4.0 presents no major problems in the long run. You can download the PDF patch from cydia once you've jailbroken so you won't be an any higher risk of security problems. Just make sure you do it right and don't brick your iProduct.

Use greenposi0n! its not that hard and you get gamecenter! Greenposi0n is the safest too.

Yeah, I saw the tutorial for Greenpoison actually gave you a stopwatch for how long to hold won each thing and you could reset.

I am just scared of screwing up my computer or my iPod by downloading 4.0.

You dont need 4.0 for greenpois0n. Its ment for 4.1.

You should probably look for a good guide to downgrading/reverting for yourself so that you don't brick your iPod.

Hey kevin, you cant revert to 4.0 unless you have shsh blobs for that firmware, you get those if you jailbreak on that firmware. Trust me ive done it plenty of times. I have shsh blobs for 4.0/4.0.1/4.0.2/4.1/4.2.1
