brawl all the way! Has the most characters, great arenas and other modes like boss battle and all star. I also love the massive library of music which you can either listen to or set the chances of having on certain arenas. A great game which has entertained me for hours

Melee. The Originial had some rigged characters ---->(Kirby/Pikachu) and brawl has some dumb features, aka TRIPPING, and is slower. Melee is much faster paced, and you can only air dodge once, then you freefall, and has other such skill factors involved.

i prefer brawl, melee isn't very good for single-player.

hmmm....i like brawl better because its more fun but i have to say it takes more skill to play melee. i also miss mewtwo and pichu
