hello. I think im kinda getting bored playing this website, seeing as ive played virtually all the games. I know its fun getting points and ranks and everything but i figured, what do they actually do? do i win or recieve stuff? So until ArmorGames has eveolved a better point system i think i might try out newgrounds for a bit. I will still be replying to these comments though. Please tell me your opinion.
The site hasnt been on much time and if this is the biggest amount of comitment you could give to a site I will be interested on how much you can stay on NewGrounds.This site isnt about the games its about the community.
You pretty much rose up the ranks out of nowhere, probably indicating that you spent an extremely large portion of the time on the site already. Spending time in the forums or writing more posts would be another good way to earn points.
As with any website, points are not going to get you a free Xbox or whatever. They are merely an indication of your participation in the site.
Speaking of earned points, I'm going to look at Axel's comment times on the games. I mean he wasn't even on the board yesterday. That just seems weird.
I think it was John who looked into that, and the points checked out. As far as Axel goes... I am not sure. But he was on the leader boards for a while. Just not that high.
If your looking for a whole point based game kind of thing, Newgrounds isn't any better than this. Newgrounds is great for the flash community, but it's not the place any random person would go just to get lots of experience points, blams/saves, and reviews just because they can. I don't think you'd find it very exciting anyway because you can only gain experience once a day.
