Last year I faked being sick all the time. Mainly because school started too early and I didn't go to sleep early the night before. That's probably why my parents don't believe me most of the time. But this year I need to catch up on all my credits.
I try not to have any huge lies because my parents are like walking lie detectors with me, it sucks. The worst I do is over exaggerate a sickness or an injury, I could probably pull it off without being sick but I hate having make up work so it balances out.
Same here my parents prolly know every trick in da book so all i could do is just eat a lotta pickles (maybe 10) and drink grapefruit then say i got a really bad stomache ache and i don't have to go to school.
My parents didn't believe me when my foot was hurting so much i almost couldn't walk on it.. My mother, sister and i went to a play.. I couldn't walk so fast because of the pain, my mother said: "just hurry up already! If you don't i'll make sure you never ride horses again!!" So with a lot of pain i tried to hurry as much as i could..
A month later i was having surgery in the hospital
Another month later i lay there again
Yeaaa now they couldn't say i was faking it anymore! The worst part: when i confronted my mother with it she said i was crazy and blowing things up. My sister at least was honest and said to my mother that she did say i was exaggerating with my ankle.
Have your parents ever not believed you when you told the truth?
Well... It wasn`t really LYING ... it was Guessing ... I told them when i was 6th Grade i would finish up in a good college , And at the time, i was a disaster with my grades.. But look at me now , proudly attending Oxford in London
The family is a relatively easy group to trick, especially when you lying just comes casually to you. I am generally a believable person, and I use this to my advantage from time to time.
I told my parents that I passed my geography test today and my dad said "What? You suck at geography." So he called my teacher and he said that I passed. You should have seen the look on his face.
