What are your favorite famous last words. You can also think of your own if you want.
Mine is "Jakie, is it my birthday or am I dying?" (Seeing all her children assembled at her bedside in her last illness.) Astor, Lady Nancy (1879-1964)
My favorite last words of all time, but I'm afraid that they require some context. Voltaire the philosopher was on his deathbed with a priest beside him. Said priest begged him to denounce Satan in his last moments. This was his reply. "Now, now, my good man, this is no time for making enemies." -Voltaire
My favorite last words were said by John Sedgewick at the Battle of Spotsylvania Courthouse. He was watching the battle and saw his men taking cover from enemy potshots. He was walking around and yelling at his men. His last words were "They couldn't hit an elephant at this distance".
