Fable 1 was good. Fable 2 was awesome, but had some obvious story similarities to Fable 1. I don't know what it was with Fable 2, but I just wanted to keep playing it over and over. Fable 3 sucked. I sold it after beating it twice, and only play Fable 2 now
aaaah, fable, i remember fable, i have fable 2, and am going to get fable 3. I remember killing every person in a town in fable 2, and going through the arena in fable without using health potions or dieing(i pretty much avoided it until i had alomst everyting full with my exp stuff),I remember getting 4 million coins just to donate it to the evil temple, and i remember donating 7 billion coins to the good temple. Aaaaah, fable fable fable, such a fun game.
Fable 1 was like Lord of the Rings - yeah it's a generic fantasy BUT. Back then when it came out it was far from generic. Lord of the Rings is probably the single biggest thing people think of when they hear "generic fantasy", graceful elves, irish dwarves, those ego-maniac humans who have to be the key to the good ending (Hobbits are no different, let's be honest), and those snarly orcs.
Grr.. Fable 1 actually taught me a valuble lesson, basically, I felt guilty because I may have been doing bad things without realizing and, well hey, that would be a ******-y move if I ignored it. Now I always try to make sure what I do is the right thing. Bam. That game taught me more of what I need to know than my current 10 years at School did.
Age of Empires is awesome for learning about History btw
