It would be great if you could make some kind of notification, when people write to you or in some of your topics. You could do like facebook, when someone is updating your status or have written to you, you will get a notification in the left corner of the website.
this sounds like a really good idea. you should have put it in the AG3 section of the forums and it might be implemented in AG3. you could ask a mod to move it.
