I remember playing an RPG a while back. It was fairly good, but I couldn't beat it. Now I want to try again. But I can't remember the name. What I remember about it was that you were a human serving spirits. You were part of their army, and you lead missions with an assortment of humans and spirits. Also, there was a human slave named "Jack," who you could free, and either take him as your own slave, or as your friend. You could also gamble with him, and take him on missions. Please, if you know what this is, please tell me.
