Has anyone ever tried for a low % of this game? I love doing them in metroid and this just screamed at me to do it. So far I've gotten the items in order except for the Duck upgrade at the start. Current % to beat is 40% but I accidentaly got a letter upon re-entering the metallic area. Please post your lowest percents so we can try and totally sequence break this game ;D
I think it's safe to say that the "Letter" pickup in the shaft going up to the metallic area is a must get since I cant hit the top without using that ledge to get 2 jumps in the airway. Correct me if I'm wrong please :P
Also I've tried to get past getting the triple jump but I'm like pixels away from the ledge (pixels sounds nerdy but I couldn't think of another word :P).
Just got 37% (35% on ending score lol) yes it's possible to skip the letter my bad guys just have to hold down the jump button to get maximum height lol.
Also another little possible glitch but after getting the 3rd blaster power-up, you can go straight to the game end. That means no need to get invincible or the end game timer to start .
Lol well if you don't get any letters and skip the duck at the start than you can get sub 40 lol. I might also record a speedrun if anyone would like it. Atm I'm aiming for ~10 minutes got 11:27 last night without really trying and I made alot of mistakes lol.
